IndiaSkills Competition is the biggest skill competition in India held every two years exhibiting extraordinary talent from across the country with the support of State Governments and Industry. This year, with 20 plus States participating, IndiaSkills could reach out to the grassroot level and celebrate the power of skills.
Post the skill competitions held at district, state and regional level, IndiaSkills National Competition will be organized this year in 2021. The competitions will be conducted in partnership SSCs, Industry Partners and Academic Organizations.
Alongside IndiaSkills Competitions, Abilympics, Olympics of Abilities will also be organized featuring featuring persons with disability. The vocational skills competition is specifically designed for specially-abled individuals to express their unique talents.
IndiaSkills National Competition was organized in October 2018 in New Delhi. The competitors were from 27 States and Union Territories who showcased their skills in 46 trades, 8 traditional skills and 4 demo skills. Along side IndiaSkills Competition, Abilympics was also hosted featuring person with disability.
Haryana state had conducted its zonal and state level competition between March-April 2018. Candidates from Haryana had participated in competition with full enthusiasm and 39 candidates of Haryana participated in Regional Competition held in Jaipur and Lucknow and 21 competitors got selected for IndiaSkills 2018 National competition. Competitors from Haryana won 2 Gold, 2 Silver, 6 Bronze and 3 Medallion in National competition help in New Delhi. After rigorous training, 2 candidates from Haryana had represented India in World Skill competition 2019 held in Kazan-Russia.
